As of October 2026, the guide has two department stores across two suburbs, most of them in Childers and Pialba. Every one has a website that we open and check every day.
As of October 2026 the Wide Bay Business Guide lists 2 department stores across 2 suburbs, from Hervey Bay and Maryborough to Bundaberg and Childers.
Childers and Pialba have the most listed department stores. Every suburb with at least one is on this page.
Every day the guide checks each business it lists. A business comes off the guide only when there is clear sign it has closed, seen on two checks at least 7 days apart. A slow or briefly down website never removes it. Of the 2, 2 have a website that is checked daily.
Listing is free and takes about two minutes at https://widebaybusinessguide.com.au/add/ with no account. If your business is already here, open its page and click This is my business to claim it; claimed listings appear first in search.
